There is no question that city life can be expensive, and that’s why it is important to take steps that will help you make the necessary savings and save money on a daily basis. Thankfully, I’ve always been ThrifDee! & always looking for ways to save here & there! That’s why I’ve decided to give you an update on some of the best ways of giving you all the goodies when it comes to improving your life in the big city, and helping you live a thriftier and more cost-effective life in the process.

Eat out for less

One of the best ways of being able to save money in the big city is to come up with strategies that will help you eat out for less. Learning the tricks of the trade, utilising coupons and loyalty apps, and going out for lunch rather than dinner are all great ways of keeping down the costs. Being able to eat out for less is a great way of being able to enjoy yourselves, and not have to worry too much about the cost in the process.

Reduce driving costs

Driving costs can soon mount up, particularly in the city where fuel efficiency is low, and there are often things like congestion charges, ULEZ fees & extortionate parking prices to deal with. One of the best ways of saving money in the big city is to look at how you can reduce your driving cost as much as possible. There are a lot of different things to think about here, and Burswood Car Rentals has good deals to consider if you’re thinking about trading in your car and simply going for a rental car instead. You might also think about carpooling, or focusing on walking, cycling, or making use of our lovely public transport.

Make use of free entertainment

One of the best things about city living is that there is so much opportunity to do things that you wouldn’t have the opportunity to do elsewhere. For example, there is lots of free entertainment that you can make the best of when you live in a big city, such as visiting free museums or attending concerts in the park, etc. these are great free opportunities to keep yourself amused and entertained, whilst also not dipping into your bank balance at the same time.

If all else fails, there’s plenty of communities you can join & keep an eye on what good offers are around… better still…. with holiday seasons around the corner, there is always great offers going around!
